In 1997, with more than 20 years of renovation, architecture, and interior design experience around the Washington DC region, Tom Utley founded Rock Creek Builders with a team of accomplished construction professionals who:

• Truly enjoy remodeling, additions, and quality home renovation

Tom built his technical expertise in elegant home restoration, renovation, and additions by working with renowned firms including Broadhurst Architects, Zaras & Neudorfer Architects, and Lila Fendrick. He also collaborates with designers known for their elegant, innovative work.

We value relationships. Once we’re ready to start work on your project, we pair you with a Project Manager and a Lead Carpenter. The responsibility of the Project Manager is to keep your project running smoothly and to communicate clearly with you throughout the construction process. This is a collaborative effort and we look forwarding to getting to know you throughout your project.
